Hi Everyone,

Would like to introduce myself.  I am a complete noobie.  I live in HMB and the only fishing I have done is crabbing off my standup paddleboard (if that counts).  I don't yet own a kayak, but am researching it and guess this is a good place to start.  I have talked to a few kayakers I have met down by Romeo Pier (the old green one in HMB harbor) and they all mention this site.

I am interested in learning to catch rockfish and halibut.  Would love to catch a salmon, but have heard that is much harder.

Hope see you all out in HMB sometime.

Cheers,
Brook Stein

Welcome, Brook.  Crabbing off your SUP counts as pretty badass in my book.  A yak sounds like a fit for you too.  Good luck and have fun.   :smt001

Welcome aboard Brook. There will be a few hook ups this long weekend in HMB. I'll be there on Friday launching at HMBK. Hope you find a kayak soon and we'll see OTW.
