I decided to try Berry this AM.  I launched at Oak Shores at 7:30 AM and set about trolling a dodger/worm combo.  I later pulled out my flyrod.  My fly fishing abilities have "rusted" somewhat in the last 45 years.  I'm glad I was out there alone.  I looked like a Indiana Jones with a bullwhip.  I guess I need more practice.  I tried various lures trolling from surface down to 30 feet.  Finally a bass took a Rapala at 10 feet and that was all she wrote.  The WX was cool and cloudy but the wind behaved and that made it a nice day to be on the water.  A few photos for your approval...

The fog/clouds were settled in the valleys this morning.

The day was quite nice despite the cool weather.

The "prize" of the day.  Back he went after his photo was taken.

Sweet report Sam. The lake is probably in the middle of the turnover i assume. But once it does turnover, the fishing should pick up there. Thanks for sharing, Ricci

Fishworks hit it on the head, the lake has yet to turn over, but once it does the bite will take off and you'll see me out there flinging flies all over for trout and bass.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

Water temp was 56*.  I thought it turned by now.  About 10 days ago a guide/friend of mine was getting really nice trout in the 18-20 inch range with no copods.  He was getting them at 30 feet.  I graphed some fish at 20 feet along the shoreline but damn few of them.  Well I'll have to try again later and hope the turn is finished.

Tony I saw no other fish caught as I was the only one out there.   :smt003  Even by the seagulls/eagles/osprey.
