Can't make Ruben's tourney, so I'm gonna hit Doran early morning for some crabs. Forecast is lookin' slick. I gotta be off the water by 11:00, so I'm gonna try to hit the beach at 5:00AM, or so. Channel 69.

I am tempted to drop some pots there and then head to TC for the event, and come back through after.

I may head out that just trying to figure out where to go this weekend now. Is there any decent rock fishing there?

Not really. You'd be better off heading up the coast...and if you did that you might as well hit TC for the tourney!

I'm hoping to get one of the spots just outside of the day use area. We can wheel in from there.

Won't make it Saturday. I was just reminded of some paperwork I have to get done.
Probably Sunday.

Just park in the overflow day use parking area(gravel area outside day use gate). Then wheel your boat in under the gate.

On opening day the gate was open when I got there at 5:30 in the morning. Maybe they're not closing the gate at night anymore?
