We made a run from Bodega to Jenner on this last thursday, 3 days BEFORE the crab opener. There were many crap pots set all over the place. I saw guys with pots at the dock on their way out. I can only hope that fish an game can manage to bust some of them. If traps full of crabs would not die in the process I would have cut many buoys lose that day. Now I suppose all these good citizens are going to release all the dungies and keep any reds........right.......Stinking Poachers.

I saw many lines out and pots being checked on Friday in Tomales bay.  When I got back to Miller Park a yaker was just going out with his pots baited and ready to go.  When I asked him about the regs he said it was ok as long as he didn't pull them till Saturday. Also said there weren't enough fish and game to check everyone!  The people who break the rules are the cause of all the rules.
