Hey any of you guys have any experience with these x-grip phone holders? Im planning to use it with a samsung s4 with the lifeproof case on the edge of my kayak and was worried about it opening and dropping my phone to the bottom of the lake. Anybody know a store around the roseville/sac are I can check one out in or buy one? Ive been calling around bike shops and kayak shops with no luck. I dont want to order online right now cuz i kinda need it by sunday. Or if anybody has suggestions on any other phone holders let me know. Thanks! heres the holder

interesting, if you get one, I'd like to read a gear review.  I've been looking for something to mount the lifeproof case on the deck.  There is a dash mount that holds to a suction cup for the IP5, but it looks a little sketch

You've just been calling the wrong kayak shops.  :smt044 They work great. We sell them at our shop in Lodi. I've used them for holding GPS units, Trolling motor controls, and they work great with an I phone in a Lifeproof case. They grip very tight and would defiantly hold you phone if you were to take a dunk. Let me know if you would like me to send one to you. You will get your 10% NCKA discount on the order as well.

Good point about the base. We use t slots to fit in yak attack tracks and mighty mounts.
