while i totally understand about how HUUUGE this could be... you already know that the government and the big oil companies will never let this see daylight. THIS is singlehandedly the biggest threat to the oil companies. period. it will never reach mass production... not in my life time...(unfortunately)

Unfortunately?  If mass production ever came to fruition, how long do you think it'd take before we siphoned off every drop of water out of our water supply?

I'd say water is more valuable than gas, I don't think it's a smart use of a resource that all life is dependent upon.

Not to threadjack, the where do you think the electricity used for electrolysis to separate the hydrogen and oxygen atoms in the water molecule comes from?

The electricity used for electrolysis comes from the power grid. Water is not a miracle power source that will spontaneously break down into hydrogen and oxygen gas to power his torch.
