First time diving off of a kayak. Glad I read a bunch of the posts on here first, it made a huge difference.  Lost one weight from my belt, no idea how that happened, but found a few while spear fishing!

Caspar cove was not as full of snails as I hoped, but there was a ton of fish.  This was the soon to be 10 year old sons first time ab diving also.  He did great.  Paddled out there with me too!

We rented coleman kayaks I think, thats all there was, no storage on them at all, but they had a wheel on the back to help drag them to the water.

fishing and diving were great, if you go to the campground, try and get something in the back, 9b or 14.  nice big lots, secluded.  I was crammed in a lot that barely fit my truck, much less the tent.  people were great though.  fish for dinner tonight.  JR

Sometimes the problem with using a kayak for ab diving is you go out too far, get into too much swell, and have trouble locating the bugs.  I was at Shelter Cove last week.  Kayak fishing was great, but for abs, I just swam out from shore with my bag and bar.
