I just went and picked up 2 more breakdown traps for the up coming crab season. I cant wait to drop pots before work and pull them after work  :smt003 Its nice working 100 yards away from a humboldt bay boat kayak launch. Whos gonna be heading out on opener?

I've never done it before but I'm geared up (I hope). It would be nice to see you out there. I hope the crabs are in good shape.

Humboldt guys-

Greg (Cajun) is holding a clinic on crabbing at pac out coming up soon. Call down there and get signed up if you haven't been crabbing off a kayak before.

I think Greg said he is going out with a group on Sunday the 3d from Trinidad. There will be people out on November 2nd Trinidad as well. Get in touch with pacific outfitters.

Im a die hard crab park guy :) Ive had good luck down there and its always good to drop pots and go do some perch fishing off the beach to pass the time on the weekends.

I'll be crabbing up here in Crescent City.I won't be pulling many pots yet, 3 months out from a spinal fusion. However my 11 year old daughter is a machine.LOL.
