Nothing beats a great breakfast in a "hole in the wall" cafe!  There's a place in Ventura called the Breakfast House.  They frequently have the catch of the day and eggs with the most amazing potatoes.  I don't eat fast food but an unhealthy tasty breakfast is hard to pass up.

I am taking my wife up there for our anniversary next weekend, find any good dinner joints, a step up from a hole in the wall ?

I do that too; motorcycle ride in the fall, ski in the winter, and stop by redhut for breakfast.

Red Hut...yum.

We enjoyed this Greek place last winter.  It was good for the young grandkids (no worry when food falls to the floor, or they make a little noise) and the food was interesting. Just a little bigger than a hole-in-the-wall, but not by much.
