Sup everyone. Just picked up a scotty rod holder and anchor trolley kit. After doing my homework a little bit I have found I want to go with QRAS instead of trolley for a number of reasons. Anyway my question is where do guys have your holder installed if you got or have had t15? Pictures welcome  :smt002

You can still use a trolley and make it quick release. I've been doing it for a few years now.

Do you have a rudder on your T-15? If not I run a line from the t handle up to a clam cleat located by the seating area. This is the line you will release when you want to ditch the anchor line. The end of the anchor line will have a solid ring on it. Pass the release line through the ring. When you release the line attached to the kayak the anchor line will pay out. I have a float on the anchor line about four feet from the ring and fifty feet of line from there to the anchor.  Do you have the upgraded rod pod cover? You can put scotty or canon rod holders in the holes provided on the rod pod cover. They would not be supportive enough to troll with a heavy weight as in salmon trolling but for drifting and anchor fishing they would be fine.

PM me about an upgrade on the rod pod for you. I might be able to pick one up on Monday or Thursday when I bring home my new Predator MX YAY!
