I will be headed to the lake on Saturday. I hope to be on the water by 8:30AM. I will be going out for Steelhead. Come on out if you don't have anything else to do.

Are you trolling the main lake and Warm Springs arm? I going to fish Yorty with my wife Saturday and again Sunday for bass. I'll join you for Steelhead in the future once the bass bite slows down. Do you Steelhead fish the Russian also? I hope it has a good run this year!!!  :fish2

I can't make it Saturday, maybe Sunday though.
Good luck.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

I normally troll the main part of the lake. I haven't really been to any other parts of the lake. I haven't tried the Russian river yet but I may have to give it a shot. What time does the run start?

@mako, sounds good. I may try to get up there Sunday also. The wife is in school all weekend so as long as the honey do list is short I will sneak up there for the first part of the day.

A lot of trees and stuff are popping up around the main lake at the Yorty and Cherry Creek areas, so trolling anything very deep you'd take a chance of hanging up allot! In November you can troll almost on the surface and catch limits of Steelhead thou in those areas!! Steelhead on the Russian starts getting some fish around Thanksgiving, but really gets good from Xmas to end of February which with the right water levels can be super!! If you're ever interested we could hook up and I can show you the best places to fish, etc.

Awesome, sounds good.

Yeah the past month or so I have been hitting Lake Sonoma weekly and every week I am seeing more and more trees. There are a couple people have obviously hit that now have bright colored items attached to so the PB'ers see it.
