Hi guys, I tried searching the internet but I'm hearing both sides so I know the members here are very knowledgeable so maybe some one can help.  Can you use bluegills as live bait on the delta if they were caught else where like San Pablo Reservoir? I read stories of guys using them as bait but they caught them on the delta.  I tried catching them locally where I intend to fish but no luck, little buggers wouldn't bite but I can catch them without trying at the reservoir.  I would fish with goby's but those guys are $2 bucks a pop, too rich for my blood.  Thanks guys.

You can not transport live fish from one location to another, with the exception of bait you buy at a shop.

I believe it's a hefty ticket if you get caught transporting live fish from one body of water to another.

My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Thanks dune but it's the whole rule about not being able to transport bait alive from one location to another.  Gotta catch bait in the same area I intend to fish, or have a receipt to show I bought em.
