Finally got a yak and was able to take it out on Sun. Trident prowler 15.First time out and in HMB. took a rod and some stuff but just mainly wanted to get used first. stayed in harbor area for a bit than was going to attempt to go to buey. got outside north jetty and swell was pretty big so I turned right back around and said fuck this for now. all in all it was fun. Other than my ass killing me from seat  :smt010.

A good seat pays for itself in short order.  The Surf-To-Summit seats are REALLY comfy!  A little $, but worth it in my opinion.  One of those pieces of gear that you only buy once & move it from yak to yak .... when you get a 2nd & 3rd one :smt002 :smt003

Right on, fishalot - way to go for it!  and way to get back to safety when you didn't feel the conditions were good to venture further.   :smt001

Great advice on the S2S seats - excellent products and all I use for seats or paddle leashes.

Yeah I am going to look into surf to summit seat for sure! also I got to make me a cart cause hauling that thing from car to beach wasn't fun  :smt009. Im always down to go out on a weekend here in HMB if you can deal with a newbie OTW :smt002.

Keep an eye out on the hookups Joey. Yeah, most of us would have done the same in terms of turning back when water condition does not permit. Practice self rescue too while your at it. See you on the water soon bro. BTW, most of us use the Wheelez cart. Perfect for the beach transportation.

Go to HMB often enough you will turn around once in a while. No shame in admitting that.
