I arived at ocean cove on wed/2 and the wind was not bad but the swell was very large so didn't get in the water .
I woke up to the swell much smaller. So I put the yak in the water and paddled north about 2 mile in about 90 feet of water and drifted back to ocean cove. I got a limit of rock fish with a lot of vermilloins and blues all about 3 to 5 Lbs .I planned to take pictures but my camera  got wet and is dust. friday just relaxed in camp ocean was choppy with south wind blowing. Saturday I woke up got in the water right in front of camp and got my limit of ABS in ten minutes. Tjhe swell was completly gone and no wind. I put the yak in the water and paddled througt bait ball after bait ball  to the south side of salt point. I drifted south again icaught 5 short lings and a great limit of vermilions all  over 5 pounds. all of my fishing was done useing a gibbs minnow/4 Oz diamond  bar great trip and will be back in to weeks for another couple of days.
