Isn't live bait illegal for a fresh water tournament per DFW.

This is not a tournament, it a kayak event ;0)
I will not be handling fish, just looking at your pictures. Therefor you only have to follow California Fish and Wildlife rules.

You don't have to use bait... 

Eric, or anybody who wants bait, i talked to the guy who runs H&R bait on hwy 4 and he said if people want live minnows to call them a week ahead so that they can have plenty of bait avail. Come sunday..Im not worrying about it, i make my own candy bait!

This is not a tournament, it a kayak event ;0)

Prettiest kayak wins?...longest kayak?...or by weight?
