Couldn't find the dabs last Saturday.

I will show you how to find the big dabs! I will bring some sourdough for fresh sandab sandwiches right on the beach! :smt006

Dabs look small down there.  I average 10" usually with the occasional ones up to 13".

I had 31 in the ice box.  Good times!  The jellies were thick!  Most dabs averaged 9" with largest to 12" yesterday.  Highlight was the mola-mola that cruised between all if us.  The real bonus of the day came when I piled both if my kids on the AI tramps and took them out to see the otters, seals, jellies and a fun sail.  They loved it!  Was their first time on the big blue ocean.

My lowlight was setting off my inflatable life vest and learning today that the ice chest I left in the trunk of my car full of ice and drinks .... the drain plug was open.  Doh!

I hopefully have good karma coming as I PIF my paid all day parking permit to a family as they came into the wharf parking lot.  It made their day!  Sometimes the little things in life make a huge impact.

pretty sure I saw you guys headed in, someone hollered at me.  I was in a yellow prowler sitting in front of Ed Ricketts.  I got out pretty late, too much stuff to remember to bring.  I gotta follow you guys to get on some fish.  Weather was nice though.

The tuperware rental fleet was LARGE this weekend.  Watched at least 3 turn turtle at the beach in front of MBK in the afternoon.  Only about 1' waves on occasion at the beach but it was enough to cause troubles for some of the rental people.
