Not asking for honey holes just some info on good places to eat in Gualala, good spots to launch the yaks, and if you feel particularly awesome I would totally appreciate some general tips on the better parts of the coastline here for abs/rockfish.  Looking forward to exploring a new part of the coast for me and looking for some "tenners" to join the choir :) Thanks in advance (PMs are ok)

The BBQ place is the bomb.  Good beer and good BBQ.  Finding good BBQ in California can be difficult.  Its nothing like my home in Texas where there are BBQ joints all over.

Bones Roadhouse -KC style bbq, good pulled pork, too. Launch at Ancho
r Bay. Do a little research on google earth for good coves. Wind from north most days usually means head nirth and get blown back.

I like bones. But their chicken was really dry. They have tricerahops, the girls are cute.

The barbecue place in Fort Bragg is good too. I think it's called "Q".

In California, finding a Texan who is objective and unbiased in their opinion can be difficult. :smt005

Thanks for the info guys!  I'm hoping I can get some decent bottom time after eating a big BBQ meal!  The conditions looks kinda epic (1-2' S swell at 15secs) so I'm pretty pumped about this trip.  If you're up in the area drop me a line or look for an army green Tarpon 140 with a couple of NCKA stickers on the back ;) Stay safe out there guys.
