Stringers are bad too. Looks like the engine is coming out now.

Can you say can of worms

This might take longer than the 3-5 days I wanted to do it in. Engine will come out, old stringers cut out, basically everything out. New stringers, flooring, carpet and a months worth of work in as little time as possible. New upholstery now too.  Why not make it like new? I should have stayed with kayak and let the boat sit in the pasture.

This is why people question the cost of boat repairs when they take one into a shop for a "minor" issue.  Better to find out now & fit it right the first time.

It will be fun as long as it does not take my fishing time away.  Easy, just time consuming.

Shoot, easy for you maybe!  I'd be hauling it off to the dump!    Dont worry Rob... Fixing that puppy up for some fun times with your lady can only bring good things!  Fishing is overrated!

Day two. Lots of stuff ripped out. All the foam, most of the floor. Engine out tomorrow and finish ripping out stringers with saws all.

Rip it out.

Can't wait to see the finish product.
