Yup!!!! Used it once for throwing irons at albies; but mostly used it for jiggin irons/diamonds for li-ling from a PB...

It's my primary, all-around rod.  It's killed 11 salmon this season and perfect for swimbaits or irons.  IT'S A BEAST!!!

It's a great rod but I just don't use it.I mostly throw my 711 cumara.the last time I used it was at los vaqueros I was throwing an eight inch huddleston then the shittt came as I watch my hudd go flying as the backlash snapped the 50#power pro

After I lost a $500 set up in Capitola I am sticking to good gear not expensive gear.  About a month ago a good buddy rolled in the surf and broke his gloomis rod.  Just saying...
