Texas is doing well. Got up to Oklahoma to see some old military buds a few weeks ago on Lake Eufaula. Caught all kinds of small fish but lost two gar that spooled me as well as one huge catfish that surprised me on my ultra-lite.

Had a few HOW events here on Lake Burgher. Lots of LMB's but no big ones yet. My largest is only 4.5 pounds to date but I have caught over 100 since I have been here. If you go to HOW DFW's Facebook page you can see my ugly mug there a lot.

Been volunteering a lot here and having a blast as a retiree. Miss all of you and miss the NCKA. Still haven't been able to hook up here with any kayak guys but have met some of the best at some events.
