I found these rig pics online for Halibut  and the deep six diver rig for Salmon trolling.. probably would work best from powerboat.

What rigs are you guys using for salt fishing?

Not just for power boats. We pretty much use deep six almost exclusively up in Humboldt trolling salmon from a kayak. We seem to do ok.

That is a killer kayak fishing rig for SoCal, or anywhere you want to cover lots of ground in a sandy area. A 1 or 2lb ball just barely touching the bottom. Bounce ball rig.

Also can work for salmon or WSB if they are feeding on the bottom.
