Room or apt for rent in SF?

Hello all a friend of mine has recently moved to the area from TX and will be attending a masters program at the art institute in SF. She's looking for an apt or room for rent. Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

alot of cheaper apartments inland.....walnut creek or concord perhaps. that way shes always close to bart.
