I still pick up my 65 lbs.+ Outback over my head. Great workout.

I'm using the Hullivator on my Ford Excursion 4X4. The height is about 8 to 9 feet so I still have to lift the kayak up over 4 feet. A trailer might have been a better solution

Basically how I load my AI on my trailer, but much much higher up and I use a camping chair.  Works really well!  Jump to minute 8:00:

I do something similar loading my AI and Revo on top of my Chevy Tahoe.  With thule bars and glyde and sets its about 6 ft 4 inches high.

I do the same. Not too bad with the T13, but the abaco kicks my ass. One day I'm going to pay the piper.

used the nose on closed tailgate and push down on the rear to lift the front on to the bar method. Worked real good. On my T13 I had hang ups as I slid it forward with the rod holders, hatch buckles, etc. BUT, it did work well and is a work in progress for me to fine tune.
