Friends came down to escape the heat and we took them to the beach. I thought about taking the Kayak out with my buddy to see if we could hit some in close rockies or hali.  Thank god I scoped it out first and decided to skip the fishing. Surf was good but the beach looked like this.

Dang Christ! Look how many folks at that beach! I bet even the river of poop was crowded with kids playing in it! Simply amazing how the heat brings all the people out.

Man, if you had not posted a photo i would have never believed it. i have never seen Linda Mar like that before.

As I passed highway 92 by the 280 confusion area i saw traffic backed up at least a couple of miles for those heading to half moon bay. What a drag, I cannot believe some people willingly accept a trip like that. I did that I think one time and it was the longest 10 miles I ever did drive. The only other times I had hit traffic like that was in LA.

I think if the heat keeps up it'll be time my wife will be hitting me up to drive inland and to the mountains for trout fishing.

I'll need to fins a place quick, close and fishy would be good.

How's weekday traffic been over there? I'm thinking about sneaking out and blowing offshore from LM in between my moving duties

Doesn't sound like there are many salmon around but it'd be nice just to get out and get salty

What traffic.  Easy parking too.  Thick fog came in and it is pea soup. May actuall help the salmon bite.
