Tote- if you're available this weekend we should hookup. We'll have our radios on 69.

Tote we will be at Pinecone strip unit #28. I will be there Friday afternoon thru Sunday morning. Bones I believe will be there sometime Saturday.
Should I go for some browns and macks or smallies or both?   :smt004
any particular rig set up?

Troll the bottom between the island and the peninsula using a small dodger and a black and red needlefish for macs.
I'll head up Sometime before noon on Saturday and give you guys a holler.
I just rigged my Lowrance Elite 5dsi and need to test it out.
Summertime the bite is pretty tough. Especially with all the lake lice.
If you have small children please have them wear a life jacket even when playing near the water.
A 6 year old boy just drowned there on Sunday. He was found in 10 FOW just off shore.

Mike E good luck TOTE is THE MAN for that area.....his backyard.

there's a channel or cut on the NE part of the lake that hold macks, too.  In the meantime smallies (Tote gave me advice and I finally learned to catch them there after 2 years of trying.  I'll let him share his secret if he chooses (Tote:  this is my favorite nephew BTW, no kidding).

I caught my 31.5 incher there on a f-13 vampire rapalla smothered in procure trophy trout. Got where  the moiuth of narrows opens up into lake. also got a few smaller ones on the same setup in the narrows and just east of the launch . Three or four colors of leadcore, depending on depth. Oh yea also got a decent brown with same setup. The entire time i had a rig with dodger and worm it never got touched. Oh yea I was fishing in winter but they may still like that setup.  Good luck!
