I'll be around the cove from the 31st to the 4th, basically not leaving without a salmon if anyone wants to join. I will probably be doing a mix of PB and yaking with a local friend. Would be great to see other yaks around, especially with some fat chrome in tow.

It was real slow out there today and I was on a powerboat.  The best results were mooching near the whistle.  The salmon were average nothing real big.  We only had 5 bites and went home with 2 fish for 3 people and over 5 hours of trolling

uggg... seems like the story of my season, either a couple days late or bad conditions. Hopefully it will pick up by then, fingers crossed.

I fished the cove yesterday the 26th for about 4 hours, launched around 8am and off when the winds started putting the waves in my lap and face. I picked up a 25+lb salmon in 37 feet of water, don't pass up the shallow water when you head out. I also ended up with a ling around 32 to 34 inches. Dragging a cut plug herring around behind an 8oz banana weight. I'll probably see ya there, not sure what days yet.

Right on Pete.  It was slow on the boat the day before.  We only took 2 salmon home for three of us and the biggest was only 21lbs.

I did go get a couple yesterday morning in Trinidad though.
