Spending a couple nights in Monterey with the wife.  Plan on fishing the AM.

Any intel on what I should be targeting? Launching from Lovers Point.

Of course company is welcome.

The salmon bite is currently in Santa Cruz.

I would launch from MBK or the harbor and go to Tioga and fish halibut and sand dabs on the tide change. Then fish lings at the yellow can on the way out and in. Bring 2-3 pounds of squid. Whole squid will catch everything. They sell fresh squirts on the old wharf on weedays for $1/pound.

Trying to get someone to go with me out of SC for salmon, but if that fails, I'm open to do what GB2 suggested or just peg rockfish and hopefully lings off of Coral St (just west of Lovers). Thinking 530a launch or so and I'd be off around 10.
