took the mighty PA14 down the Stanislaus river from the highway 99 bridge in Ripon down to the end of Jacktone road in Ripon with my son sitting in the back on a bucket . The smallmouth bite was was fun we caught about 2 dozen little ones on in line spinners ( panthers and roosters ). Oh by the way my son is 6' 190 pound USMC lol and the PA 14 didn't blink an eye got to love it.

Thanks for the report, when I was a kid we used to stay at Caswell (in a ten) for a week every summer, like heaven for a kid, I'm not sure how my Mom did it though.

Wow! Never seen two adults on a PA before. Can't beat the father and son fishing together. WTG on getting your son on the water.
