Saw this on west coast high liners this evening, seems like fish are scattered around down there but need some serious luck finding them

Monterey Sunday Fishing
Limits and half limits
Went out of Monterey today. 3 hours trolling south from Pinos to Cypress with no salmon. Decided to go into Carmel Bay....picked up our two limits of rockfish and Lings. Headed home and saw couple party boats we know had gone out for salmon in the morning. Figured they found salmon in shallow. Trolled into them and by the time I figured out they had given up and were fishing Rockfish,,,,,I hooked and landed a 20 lb and a 28 lb salmon in 5 minutes....115' of water, 90' OTW. Risso's dolphins moved in right after and salmon disappeared. Good day. Saw baby rockfish swarms on bottom and squid at 50' on meter.....our two salmon had squid in bellies.
Not posting pics cause I'm too big(fat) and make the salmon look smaller than they really were.

Thanks for hte info. Moved to Tuesday morning since I had to do some stuff tonight. Probably just rockfishing, maybe some flatties around Carmel. Off the water by 8.
