Went out to Capitola with OhSnap and some friends, 4 of us total. Arrived at the pier around 730am I think.

Started out in the long kelp bed near shore (green house side of the pier).  I think we hooked into 5 rock cod there before 3 of us headed out towards surfer reef.

On the way out we found the motherload of kingfish.  We'd drop and were getting bites within seconds.  Fished it for fun with squid for awhile before moving on to what we think was surfer's reef.  Kept 16 rock cod, and released a few here and there.  Bite slowed down, and we drifted back to play with kingfish/white croakers before heading back in.

Total was 22 rock cod, 12 kingfish for 4 of us, not including the ones we let go.  1 vermillion, 1 grassy, rest all browns/blacks/blue

I should have some video later tonight, but I'm going to be late for work if I stay any longer!
