WTS ~ WS Tarpon160 with rudder

OK, well after all this weekend’s test paddles it has become apparent to me (not to my wife, really) that I need to clear up a bit of space in the house and sell a kayak!

So it is time to sell my “mango”-colored Wilderness Systems Tarpon 160 (with rudder.)

It is a gorgeous boat, it has an installed rudder system, has two sealable hatches that are capable of holding a lot of gear, a WS hard-plastic seat-back, it has the usual scratches from launching, but nothing unusual, no holes, dents, etc, etc.

I had fun paddling this boat, it runs true and straight in the water (it coasts for days for that matter,) turns fairly well, unfortunately for me, it paddles just about exactly the same as my other boat,,,, which means I don’t need two of them…

I am willing to pass this handsome boat on to an NCKA member for exactly what I paid for it (in December,) for $600 cash, final offer, I will put it up on this board for a week or so, after that I am putting it on Craigslist for $700+ (for a well-kept 160 with a rudder, that is an honest deal.)

This boat will definitely make someone happy!
