Thanks Eric,

As luck would have it same transducer scupper minus the threaded inserts.  Time to figure something out - appreciate the suggestions you guys came up with - Ill start there.

What do you think before I permanently put all this in place.  Drilled another hole in the transducer bracket to receive another bolt.  Used the "J" bolt to hook it and run through the scupper hole.  I opted not to cut the transducer bracket tabs as there is an indented area shaped to them - same as yakhoppers, the Predator just doesn't have the threaded inserts.  The "J" bolt when tightened up hugs the bracket to the hull without any moving around.  I haven't committed to this - but it is looking pretty good thus far.

I'm not to excited about the transducer being slightly angled and partially exposed.  However (can't find the picture) I do recall yak hopper mentioning his was and it has not been a problem.

I don't have a Predator but I do own a Lowrance 4x DSI. When deciding where to mount it on my Trident 13, I also ran into the same problem. My solution was making a transducer swing arm. I already had plans on installing some GT90 yakattack tracks so I had the perfect place to mount one. I made it out of stuff I had laying around the garage (cheap cutting board, aluminum square tubing, t-bolts, zip ties, pipe insulation, straitened out angle bracket). I remember seeing tracks already installed on the predator so maybe this could work for you. If you don't want to build one, Mad Frog Gear makes one (http://madfroggear.com/liberator/liberator.html). Good luck!
