I'm planning on going up to fish Caples or Silver lake on the 5th and was thinking I'd stay at the RockStar Lodge but it sounds like they closed back in October.

That Sucks!  It was an awesome place for the price. 

Aside from camping, are there any other affordable places to stay?

Kit Carson Lodge on Silver lake was very nice.

Their rates are pretty high.  I might end up not having a choice but damn I really liked the Rockstar Lodge.  It was just a half step above camping but their prices were right and it was a fun place to hang out at.

We have to hit that again sometime Pic.

Rockstar lodge was affordable to say the least.  To bad they closed...
