Spent a little time at Shasta this weekend. It was my first time bass fishing and it was a blast! No trophy fish but the bite was good- couldn't keep them off the line!

Take care,

Looks like a good time, nice to be yakking in water without the hypothermia factor.  :smt001

Love the "whoo!" when they jump. I do the same thing no matter how small they are....Always exciting!

Nice video Sarah. Thanks for sharing. First and last light on the water are always magical for me. You and Jeremy should come down to Monterey next month and check out our basshole.

Nice Vid., glad you had a good time in my backyard  :smt044
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Sarah -

I sent you a PM. Won't know the location till about 1 week before but it will somewhere from HMB to Monterey. Look forward to hearing the ping of your fish wacker on the head of a 60# ghost. :smt003  Actually they are almost dead by the time you get them to the boat so you really don't need to head bonk them like salmon. A lot of guys do though.  :smt044 Will be paddling an hour or more before grey light so think about some kind of lighting.
