Didn't see anything in the article that said he didn't know how to swim.  Did I miss something?

According to the Contra Costa Times, he fell into the water while paddling a rental tandem:

Not sure which article to believe.

I hope they find him soon.  I would think it would deter people from going to the lake knowing that there is a body in there somewhere.  Or did they close the lake until they find it?

how can they NOT find him? Its not like there is current OR the lake is that big.

I agree it sounds fishy, but who am I to say...

It's very important to learn the dead man's float. You can float with minimal effort for long periods of time if needed.
