Adventure Sports Big Break Marina Kayak Demo Day 6-15 and 16

I will be at the Adventure Sports Kayak Demo Day at Big Break Marina this Saturday. Come on down to try out new kayaks. I will be doing a kayak angling talk as well. The location is in Oakley at 98 Big Break Rd. Hope to see some of you there.

What are the hours Brutha? After I am done testing boats, should I bring my own/rent if I want to do a bit of fishing in the area? Bring my own PDF/Paddle? What is the etiquette?

If you want to stay and fish you need to bring all your gear. Not sure when it starts. I will find out and post up.  They will have paddles and PFD's I'm sure.

Do you know if there's gonna be charge to demo kayaks?  Also, I'm having a hard time with the location via Google aerial.

I don't think any charge to demo. I've never been there, so I'm not exactly sure of the location. I hear it is right on he water though. I will work on it and figure where it is.

I think big break road is a dead end so it should be very easy to find.I look it up before and big break rd is right off of 4 and it dead ends in the marina.

I have never been to the shop, but I grew up in Oakley, Big Break is a dead end, pretty much head towards the Antioch Bridge (or come over it) and take the second exit before (or away) from the bridge (used to be Hwy4 or Main Street) into Oakley, take it about a mile or so, it will make a big sweeping turn to the right, hang a left at the stop light in the middle of the big right turn turn (away from the Jack in the Box) and you are on Big Break road, which goes maybe 1/2 mile till you hit the marina..

PS. Will be there at 9:55 with my nose pressed to the window...

I will be worn out by 9:55. Plan on hitting the early frog bite. Unless the pub brew lingers over.

Just found out it is both days this weekend. I will only be there Sat. So show up Sun to avoid me.
