Muir Beach closing for the summer!

Well, my favorite spot is going to be closed all summer long...

Any of you launch from Stinson? I still want to fish the rocky point area this season and I need a new launch spot.

Thoughts?

you have bolinas right next to stinson but that is quite the paddle

Is it possible to drop off the gear near the construction zone and park on Hwy 1, then walk back and take stuff to the beach?  Or will the trail and beach be completely closed (I thought it was just the parking lot)?

Is it already closed?  I read that it's not closed until July 8th.   

You're right!!! July 8th it is.

The Parks website says June. They never pick up their phones or return calls, so I just called the Pelican Inn. They said it's closing July 8th.

I guess I know where I'll be every weekend until then .

YEA!! I watched you catch that fatty halibut right in front of me last year.  Awesome!  I'll see you out there sometime this month!
