I must say this is one of the coolest forums I've seen.  Props on all the positive attitudes, informative posts, regard for safety first, and just general awesomeness.  I bought a Tarpon 140 a while back and it had a NCKA sticker on it so I figured I would look it up and find out more info.  I'm so glad I did.

Anyhow, I live in Stockton (about 2 minutes from Ladd's) but don't get on the delta much anymore.  I prefer to spearfish in the saltwater (Big Sur, Carmel) and target rock fish from the yak as well with my Penn.  I also really enjoy the high country lakes like Beardsley, Pinecrest, Alpine, etc.  Anyhow, I'm really hoping to hang out with some of you guys soon and get better at this kayak fishing addiction.

P.S.  Self-employed here so I tend to head out on weekdays if anyone is up for that.

Welcome!!!!!

There's a pretty active group of us that hit up Monterey/Carmel so keep your eyes open on the hook-up section.
