The "Sea Samurai" Kevin Nakada aka "The Kid" worked his ass off for me last August to put me on the fish. I highly reccommend him if he's still guiding.

Awesome! I will be bringing my yak now to fish sd & mission bay. But I'm still going to go out with Jim on the new jk cuda out of la jolla. Figure a day of yellowtail fishing with an experienced angler is worth the money to me, plus ill get to demo the cuda.. Then on Saturday (6-1)ill head to the bays on my smaller coosa and try for Halibut.. By light tackle for the bays, my question is what is considered "light" out there?

I usually fish between 6-8lb test drop shotting or working small swimbaits.  I might up it to 10lb test if I'm trolling around.  Look to fish around structure (docks, posts, eel grass, etc)

Here's a few fish expect to pull out of there.
