05/09/13 Freeport for Shad (Non-Yak)

Sorry to post all of the non-yak reports lately. I keep going with guys from work. Went out of freeport for shad. No shad, although no one in the group had ever been to Freeport so we wer kind of flying blind. One nice smb though caught on an x-rap.

Having good luck higher up, shad are already past Chico. Went up for 1/2 day today and threw the spey rod, landed 20. Most were big females, what a frickin' hoot!

Sailfish is right on the money all reports are good.     Golfish great report and pic  also!!
