I was just looking at an old post from the beginning of the year which was entitled "300 members.... WOW!"
http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/bb/index.php?topic=2625.0

and here we are 6 months later and we have 614 members.

Where are all these people coming from?

I have no idea but it is pretty cool! I know PAL has mentioned us a couple of times in WON and Joel does an amazing job recruiting people. Everyone does a great job recruiting people to this site. Thanks again for all the support people!

Bill - I need more of those little stickers.

Every now and then, I'll post on craigslist under group activites and plug in our site for Kayak fishing in the Bay Area.

Sean / Scwafish picked up a lot of guys from his area as well  :smt023 And I also noticed that some of our new members are coming from Sac and the Monrterey area :smt001

We can also thank Fisherman's Warehouse and Coastside # 2 for putting our name out there :smt045

Where are all these people coming from?

They come because this site is simply the best out there. No major attitude or posturing, just SERIOUS fishing info. I like it becuase it helps remind me that thinking about kayak fishing all the time does not necessarily make me crazy :smt003

I agree that this site has the least attitude of any fishing site I visit.

Any attitude here is done (and understood as) humor (guilty!).

Good info, good people, no attitude=awesome site that will grow when people find it.

hey we could use some stickers up here in Tahoe,Fishing has been very good latley. The rainbows are back with serious attitude, they are big and are jumping like little marlins trying  to shake that hook. Doing a good job of it too. Lost some huge fish this last week, switched to 6# leader.I had a few jumping 6 feet in the air.  On a sadder note, Tahoe city kayak shop burned down on the fourth. hoping to make it to hmb but the old man is in town and I am getting him hooked on kayak fishing at 75 years young.
