People keep getting in dangerous water and some aren't in shape and are going to have a heart attack the next time they go anaerobic. Every year the same stuff happens. It's not a dangerous sport. Some folks are just stupid and for the others, the maker is calling anyway.

A buddy of mine knew him. He said that he had a triple bypass a few years ago. Genetics suck sometimes. Very sad that we all think we're 18years old and invincible our whole lives. RIP.

Thanks,
John

I never understand why people get into nasty water. :smt009 Abalone isn't worth my life, I don't even like the way they taste. Sad to hear people losing there life over them.

Somebody posted the divers story on coastside. From what I recall, dr. gave him clearance and this was his first trip back in the water after rehabbing from heart surgery.  I can't fault him in the slightest, after rehabbing from injuries and surgery the first thing I tend to do is return to whatever put me down in the first place. Its hard to deny the things we love, especially after going through a period where we cannot have them.   I'd likely have dove as soon as I got the green light also.

RIP Diver.

Sad news.
From what I understand he made it back to shore and died of complications due to a previous condition.

I hope these deaths lately don't deter anyone from trying the sport. It's not dangerous if you follow good practices.

For me if its my time to go I rather go to the next realm doing something I love rather than sitting In front of tv or something like that.

RIP bro
Where did he go george

My father in law had a buddy who was cleared by Kaiser to travel after having his heart checked out. All good right? He had a heart attack in the parking lot on the way to his car after the test. When its time................ its time. I hope that death is that kind to me. Seeing the ocean after being in it then going. Cant think of a better way to go. Peace.
