TUE THROUGH WED
NW WINDS 10 TO 20 KT. WIND WAVES 2 TO 4 FT. NW
SWELL 3 TO 5 FT. PATCHY FOG.

THU AND FRI
NW WINDS 10 TO 20 KT. WIND WAVES 2 TO 4 FT. NW
SWELL 4 TO 6 FT. NIGHT AND MORNING PATCHY FOG.

Fort Ross is pretty well protected from NW winds and swell.   The winds might seem a bit high, but for most days in the summer winds like that are almost calm in the morning and pick up to 10-20 kts in the afternoon.  Then again you can get windy mornings too.  This forecast wouldn't scare me off but it is a few days out and could change so I'd keep my eye on it.

Sorry, that's the NOAA forcast for "POINT ARENA TO PIGEON POINT TO 20 NM"
http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/data/Forecasts/FZUS56.KMTR.html
You can also get this forcast on the NOAA weather channels if you have a weather radio.

Here are some more resources for you...
The iWindSurf wind metrogram....
http://www.iwindsurf.com/windandwhere.iws?regionID=125&siteID=218&Isection=Forecast+Graphs
for some reason you don't need to be a member for that particular plot.

The Bodega Marine Lab real-time data...
