Boston Marathon Bomings.

I can't even begin to understand why anyone would do something like that.  I hope there's a special place in hell for people like that. 

It's hard enough for us adults to understand, but having to explain it to my son was a lot worse.  He heard about it and started asking questions.  He also really wanted to see the pictures.  I was really selective about what pictures I showed and what I told him.  How do you explain this kind of stuff to a kid who wouldn't hurt a soul.  He asked the obvious question.  Why did they do that dad?  I gave it my best shot, but I'm not sure I really have the answer. 

I hope the person or person's who did this find their special place in hell sooner than later.

Kristopher and I have been glued to the tv watching the coverage Gabe and we both keep asking eachother Why??? There is no real way we can tell the little ones.Its just not fair.

Yeah, my little 5 year old also asked why.  The best I could do was say that there are some very bad people in this world that make poor decisions.  Thankfully that was sufficient and she didn't continue to ask why.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected in Boston.

on as positive a note as can be had, my kid in Boston  is saying the community is really pulling together.  People who had hotel rooms near the blast site cannot get back into their hotels to get their stuff.  Many are being housed by regular people rising to the need.  Already talk of how to make next years Patriots Day bigger, better and safer.

People suck. Period.

Weird stuff happening around our country. Now chemical weapons being used? The letters to the Pres and senators.  Crazy shit.
