I started kayak fishing 2 years ago ... I learned mostly on my own and by watching Youtube video. I never got anything bigger than a Sardin or Rockfish.

So I'd like to reach out to the folks and ask if anyone would be willing to have me following you and watching you fishing for Halibut or Salmon? I live in Peninsula and can follow you in the bay, HMB or Capitola/Santa Cruz. I just need to see how this is done and I'd appreciate any1 taking the time to educate me.

Cheers,
C-

Charlie,
How I wish mooch (Joel) to be around at time like this, he has shown the ropes on most of us. I have taken a few to PP which is easy launch and protected, if you want to learn Ocean try to get to some safety seminars of not, check our safety first forum, PM me when you get a chance theres a talk of some brothers that might be hitting PP on the opening nothing solid yet thats why no post on hookup yet..Tight lines!!

Check the Hookup section often. I can tell you how to accidentally catch salmon, TWICE, but that's about it.  :))

Good luck on your next outing!

Peace & blessings!

I'd be more than happy to take you out in SC or Monterey for some bigger fish.  I'll also be posting hookups for people to join in the fun as well.  Best fishing is just around the corner, so get your gear ready and make sure you have all the safty gear too.  Then join or post a hookup!  :smt002
