I need an estimate to get my hardwood floor to get redun.the house is about 1200 sq ft.pulling the carpet off so the floor needs to be refinish.so I'm guessing sand, stain, and seal.and is coverd with a poop load of staples. The house is located in pinole, any help would greatly be appreciated.

I own a drum floor sander and will loan it to you if you want to tackle it yourself. It is not that difficult. Why do I own a sander? I tackled mine myself.  :smt003

I believe the going rate is between $2.50 and $3 a sq-ft. That usually gets the floors prepped (staples removed), sanded, filled, sanded, stained, sanded etc. That price usually does not include repairs.

I would call companies in your area I am sure they can tell you their sq-ft charge.
