I'm looking to get some work done on my roadglide like changing handle bars, Ohlins suspension upgrade, upgraded stereo systems, schedule maintenance, etc. I live on the east bay so would prefer in the area. I had bad experience on 2 other shop, I'm not looking for a cheap or discount service. I will pay whatever, just want to get the what I'm paying for( no cutting corners and sloppy work) any help is greatly appreciated, just tired of getting f$&$ over.

I don't know of anyone in the East Bay, but I use Tommy at West Bay Thunder in San Carlos.  He has done work on two of my road kings, built the tranny and engine for my project bike.  He is not far from 101 so he is easy to get too.  He does quality work.

If you are dead set against doing it yourself, I recommend Chino's in Fremont.  Jim is a really good guy.

Now that harley has gone to fly by wire, I understand that handlebar switch out is not what it used to be.

Yeah it's possible there have been some advancements in technology on HD's since mine was made in 1977.

Thanks squidder and Eric, don't have to be in east bay. I will call both places and go from there.

Eric nothing wrong with trouble heads,  just the newer ones do have a few advancements.
