I am considering adding a yak attack 4" rail with a ram external transducer mount.   However, I have already used up my flat area with Scotty flush mounts.  Does anyone know if the track will cover that hole if I replace the Scotty mount with a rail?  If would be awesome if the bolt holes lined up too.

Here's what I am working with:

I had flush mounted Scotty's in the same place on my Revo 13 as you.  When I got a  Revo 11, I put in GearTrac.   GearTrac is good if you want to move your accessories around or have more accessories than Scotty mounts.

GT are easier to install and flush mounted which I like, but you already have Scotty flush mounts.  I do not think GT are so good that you should replace the Scotty.   A 4" GT will not allow you to move or add many accessories.

The wide GT may cover the area, but not sure.

There are Scotty to Ram adapters that are available.

I was hoping to add a transducer and still be able to use a rod holder on that side.   Am I trying to cram too many accessories into a 4" rail?

What about adding more Scotty's.  You will have to reach over a lot to get at the far ones.

Or add the skinny GT.   They make different sizes.    I did not use the closest Scotty mounts on my Revo 13 at all.   I was alway concerned about my paddle stroke.   I fish in the Delta where there is a lot of grass and weeds, so I used my paddle frequently.

Here's my Revo 11.   I put on the long skinny GT.   I still put my accessories farther away from me.

The gear tracks won't cover the holes good enough. They are kind of concaved on the back and will leave a gap. You could get a piec from Hobie and weld it up to seal it. You won't see it under the track. I'd weld the holes too. I've put a 1.5" ball and a 1" ball on the same 4" gear track. If you went with a ram transducer mount with the 1" ball it would work.
