I need one of Hobie thru hull wiring kits. Anybody know a dealer near Modesto that might have one. Tried Headwaters in Lodi and Sunrisemountain in Livermore, neither have one. Hoping to get one today.

Believe there is a dealer in Sonora that you can try.

Thanks dildeck. Just got off the phone with them, said I would have to try their Arnold store. Also said they would probably have to order it any way, because that's what they usually do. Little to far any ways.

In a pinch you can just run the wires under the front hatch lid.
I've been doing that for 3 yrs :smt044

Looks like that's what I'll be doing till I order the kit on line. Just don't care for the wire running through the foot well.

CCK Oakland has them. They are pretty much a waste IMO. Can get every in it except the thru hull gasket elsewhere The way CCK described the gasket to me , it sounded pretty cheap. Just got an answer on this subject from Hobie.

What's the part # for the grommet /clamp gasket you got at West Marine?

Just get the RAM mast hole insert for the FF and the wires won't even touch the footwell area. :smt001

The only thing I can find at West Marine on line is Ancor Marine through deck wire seal,  part # 764998. Looks like I would have to cut my transducer cable and splice it back together to use it. Not willing to cut the cable, and would suspect not recommended.
If Glen / G-Whis has number that would be great, I'm game. Could be at West Marine in 45 min.
Also the number I have found on line for the Hobie thru hull wiring kit is 86505621. Don't know if this is the right kit now, will have to verify.

Only wish I was rigging a Hobie, Ascend with a DIY scupper mount transducer. Hope
my next yak will be a Hobie. Thanks for the input novofish.
