San Pablo Reservoir Fish Report 3-25-13

SAN PABLO RESERVOIR FISH REPORT
March 25, 2013
The San Pablo Reservoir Recreation Area is open with the hours being 6:30 am to 6:00 pm and boats being off the water by 5:00 pm. The Boat Launch area is open 7 days a week with snacks and drinks available. Our last plant of Mt. Lassen Trout was on Tuesday March 19, 2013 with 1,080 lbs. of catchable Trout and 120 lbs. of trophy Trout. The water temp has been around 56 degrees. The Trout bite is excellent and they were being caught from the shoreline near the Main Recreation Area and across the other side at Sandy Point, Scow Canyon, Bobber Beach  and also from the shoreline at the Boat Launch area aswell . PowerBait for the Trout such as Chartreuse and Spring Green have been working as well as the Mice Tails and Nightcrawlers inflated, the Broken-Back Fire-Tiger and Kastmasters seem to be working for those that are trolling.

Mike Ascari of El Sobrante caught this 6lb. Trout using PowerBait at Sandy Point on 3-18-13
Bob Amrhein of El Cerrito caught this 6.5lb. Trout using Chartreuse Powerbait at the Pines on 3-19-13
Cuong L. of Concord caught this 8lb. Trout using Powerbait while fishing the Boat Launch area on 3-21-13
Jen Davey of Richmond caught 3 Trout with the largest weighing 5lbs. using PowerBait at the Rock Wall on 3-22-13
Brian Shaw & Buddy of Oakland caught 7 Trout using Green Powerbait at Sandy Point on 3-22-13
Blaine Ebojo of Hercules caught 3 Trout using Chartreuse Powerbait at Bobber Beach on 3-22-13
